Archipelago Biotechnology Indonesia (Aka. ARCHI BIOTECH) is a microbial biotechnology start-up company based in The Sumbawa Island, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. We aim to democratizing the use of personalized microbial solution (e.g., microbiome engineering) to tackle various problems related to the health, food, agriculture, renewable energy and environment. Our company have been working very closely together with academics, business, government, media and various local communities in developed and applied a wide range of products and services, including Covid-19 environmental surface testing kit, biofertilizer (bacteria that promote plant growth) to improve soil health in arid arable land, probiotics cocktail for improving the health status of coral reef, advanced  microbial cellulose for future biomaterials (artificial leather for fashion industry), bacterial starters to produce a healthy fermented foods & beverages, microbial seeds to accelerate biogas productions, and many more.
